Pico do Futuro used to be a secret spot in Ericeira, so don’t surf it if you don’t know how to. With a solid swell, a hard and quite dangerous wave breaks right in front of the ‘Pico do Futuro’. To surf this spot, you can choose to paddle from Praia do Sul, Praia dos Pescadores or jump from the rocks in between sets.

Don’t go over the falls on the take-off or you might get washed up on the rocks. This wave only works with big west swell and wind from the east. On a good day the wave can connect with its mellower brother Furnas, giving you nice and long rights.
