Praia de Santa Rita is an exposed beach break located 5 kilometer north of Santa Cruz. Depending on the sand banks, there are multiple peaks breaking both left and right. There is usually a right breaking over a reef on the north side of the beach and an a-frame on the south side of the beach.

Santa Rita picks up a lot of swell and is therefore worth checking if all other spots are flat. Works best with lower tides. There is a big parking and a beach bar.
