We are looking for a full-time employee to join our team for the season. Are you the extrovert and pro-active host who wants to make sure our guests have the best time but also can manage the operational tasks with attention to the smallest details? A little bit about us:
We are one of the oldest running guesthouses in Ericeira and offer the fun surfcamp vibes to a more grown-up public. Our guests can meet new people, learn to surf and enjoy their time in a house with quality facilities which are cleaned and maintained with great attention. Next to the accommodation and breakfast, we offer surf lessons and yoga lessons, have two weekly dinner-nights (the famous pizza-night and BBQ) and have rental bikes and surf equipment for our guests. We also work together with a few partners for additional activities such as surf skate lessons and massages. We have a little outdoor bar where we sell different drinks and lunch-style snack.
Key tasks:
- Hosting and welcoming the guests
- Planning and organising the daily/weekly activities and communicating these to the guests and partners
- Daily operational tasks (e.g. cleaning, groceries, bar sales, food prep)
- Managing the daily planning and tasks of the part-time employees
What we need:
- Key skills/attributes: Very organised and structural, social and energetic, hands-on mentality, capable of leading a team professionally while having fun
- Available for the whole season of 2026, from ± mid-March to the 5th of November
- Previous working experience in hospitality and/or customer service job
- Fluent in English, any other language is an advantage
- Eligible to work on a contract in Portugal (NIF and social security registration required)
We offer a competitive salary and full-time hours (40h/week). You will be part of a strong professional team in one of the oldest running and highest rated surf houses in Ericeira. Therefore, we expect a very high level of service and great attention to detail when working.
